I’ve always felt at home in the dark. Black isn’t just a color to me, it’s comfort, strength, and self-expression. Growing up, I was constantly told to stop wearing black, to “lighten up,” to fit in. But I never wanted to. I wanted to create a space where people like me, who find beauty in shadows and joy in the unconventional, could feel seen and celebrated.
The Nocturnal Cult is more than a brand; it’s a reflection of who I am and a community for those who’ve ever felt like they didn’t belong. As a mum, I want my children to grow up in a world where they feel free to be exactly who they are, without judgment or pressure to conform. That’s what this is about, building a better, more accepting space for all of us who find our happy color in the dark.
